► LAS Walk for Autism - April 28th

 

 

 

Put on your Blue shirt and join LAS at The Walk for Autism in Beirut Down-Town, Martyrs Square,
on Sunday April 28, 2013, @ 6:30pm.

It will be starting from the Martyrs square,
passing through Beirut Souks
and ending at BankMed’s headquarters.

- Along with the walk, the following buildings will be lit up in Blue:
Virgin megastore,
Le Gray Beirut Hotel,
The Bank of New York Mellon,
L’Orient le Jour - Beirut Souks
and BankMed headquarters among others...

By doing this the LAS will be joining an International campaign called Light It Up Blue
whereby landmarks around the World will turn their lights blue to shine a bright light on Autism.

This Awareness Media Campaign is organized by MEMAC-OGILVY:
(TVC, Outdoor prints, radio, newspapers, magazines...)

► LAS World Autism Awareness Day additional activities - April 2013

In addition to the activities mentioned below,
Kindly find some more Activities inline with the W.A.A.D 2013:

-Alfa Telecom managed by Orascom has launched 1004 alfa-4Life sms campaign for the Lebanese Autism Society.

- Beirut Mall started lighting up in Blue starting April the 2nd till the end of the month.

- A lecture on Autism will be held at Haygazian University on April 15th at 12:00 pm.

- The College Hall at AUB will be lit up in Blue on April the 18th at 7pm .
A bake sale will be organized by the AUB psychology students and a show will be performed by the Music Club.

-Grand Cinemas is lighting up in Blue for Autism Awareness.

► AUB Lights in Blue for Autism - April 18th

The College Hall at the American University of Beirut (AUB) was lit in Blue for Autism on Thursday, April 18th at 7pm .

LAS would like to thank AUB , the Psychology Student Society and the Education Student Society at AUB, for this wonderful event !!

A bake sale was organized by the AUB psychology students and a show was performed by the Music Club.

The Lebanese Autism Society is glad to announce its World Autism Awareness Day - WAAD 2013 activities:

- Awareness Media Campaign organized by MEMAC-OGILVY:
(TVC, Outdoor prints, radio, newspapers, magazines...)

- A Walk for Autism in Down Town, Beirut on April 28, 2013, that will start from the Martyrs square, passing through Beirut Souks and ending at BankMed’s headquarters.

- Along with the walk, the following buildings will be lit up in Blue:
Virgin megastore, Le Gray Hotel, The Bank of New York Mellon, L’Orient le Jour - Beirut Souks and BankMed headquarters, among others...

- The kick off of the World Autism Awareness Day - WAAD 2013 will take place on the 2nd of April with a breakfast at Sweet Tea on April 2nd.

- We will change our profile pictures and status to raise more awareness and soliciting others to do so too.

- Virgin megastores will be asking their customers to donate for LAS and will be giving out flyers with info

- Dunkin Donuts will have donation boxes in all its branches and will be hanging out flyers

- Scoop City will be sending e-mails to all of their database asking to donate to LAS and introducing LAS' activities
