With a successful collaborative effort between Alfa managed by Orascom Telecom and the Lebanese Autism Society -  LAS, Ali Tlais, a young painter with Autism , has developed due his undeniable talent and more importantly, our continuous and valued support.

Preceded by his highly successful 2013 exhibition “Promenade dans un Verger” using the Pointillism technique, Ali, with the direction of Mrs. Rita Moukarzel, has evolved his talent to a new theme of Pop Art and Typographie which will be theme of this year’s exposition.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program for the year 2014,
Château Rweiss is supporting the cause of Autism by hosting
the Lebanese Autism Society – Parents Committee
Gala dinner on the 19th of June 2014.

This event was presented by Mr. Al Thoumy and was entertainingly rich especially with the Tenor voice of Mr. Eliya Francis and the performance of the lovely Mia Haddad, Edwin of 8e Art Entertainment and Black & White parade.

All proceeds will go to support the summer camp for children with Autism.

► Lebanese Art Academy - Press Conference announcement on June 4th, 2014

A special art academy has seen the light!

With the initiative and support of Alfa,
the first Lebanese mobile operator managed by Orascom Telecom,
the Lebanese Autism Society-LAS is proud to announce the launching of
the Lebanese Art Academy for individuals with special needs, in October 2014.

The LAA offers individuals with Social and Communication Disorders of all ages,
a space and a chance to express themselves.
Classes that include arts and crafts, music, photography, cooking, theater and dance
will be given by art experts in the respective fields.

The LAA, a dynamic and innovative academy, will meet the challenge of discovering new young talents today and will give them the opportunity to excel in the future.

Starting date: October 2014
Schedule: from Mondays to Fridays
Time: 3PM to 6PM
Place: Collège du Sacré-Coeur, Gemmayzeh
Frequency: Each activity is given twice a week (1h per session)
Fees: 25$ per session

The Lebanese Autism Society organized its 14th Fun Day,
at Beirut Souks, Down Town 
on Saturday May 17th at 3:30pm. 

Tickets at 15,000LBP for FREE fun activities 
(inflatable games, animation, biking, 
snacks, drinks and a LOT of surprises). 

All this fun for a GOOD CAUSE!

Ali Wehbe, the famous desert runner, our champion, started on April 2nd, 2014,
his 12 days run around Lebanon for the Lebanese Autism Society.

نظمت الوزارة أول عقد مع الجمعية اللبنانية للأوتيزم (التوحد) في لبنان، وبهذا تدخل الوزارة للمرة الأولى في تغطية هذا النوع من الأمراض المكلفة بما يفتح المجال أمام تعاون أوثق مع الجمعيات والهيئات المهتمة لمتابعة هذه الحالات تمهيداً لعمليات الدمج في المدارس والمجتمع.
