Your Day AwayAfter the success of the worldwide event Your Day Away of 2008 that fulfilled the wishes of more than 600 parents in the world, the event is back to fulfill more wishes for 2009.
Last year, our sponsors were very generous to the parents and provided them a bit of well deserved rest. Kids with special needs require a lot of attention and exhaustive work on the part of their parents and guardians. Your Day Away is a 'day Away' for the parents.

HSBC remits check to LAS

Arab Autism Conference 2008

The Arab Network for Autism was launched from the Second Arab Regional Conference on Autism “Early Detection, Early Diagnosis” that was organized by the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in Beirut, in co-operation with the Lebanese Autism Society (LAS) and the National Committee for Autism in Lebanon, on the 7th and 8th of October 2008.

Under the High Patronage of the First Lady Mrs. Wafaa Michel Sleiman The UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut in collaboration with the Lebanese Autism Society and the Autism Coordination Committee in Lebanon, have organized its Second Arab Regional Conference on Autism: Early Detection, Early Diagnosis, on the 7th and 8th of October 2008, in Crowne Plaza- Beirut.
It has brought together advocates, family members, scholars, pediatricians, other medical professionals, practitioners, NGOs, and officials from a variety of perspectives to explore the theme of Early Identification an Diagnosis for Autism.

Philip Morris Int'l grants 30,000$ to L.A.S On December 2007, Philip Morris granted 30,000$ The Lebanese AutismSociety We highly appreciate the cooperation of Philip Morris, to help us improve our special intervention & education program which continues to grow over the years, thus making a difference in the education of autistic children in Lebanon. The Lebanese Autism Society received the check of 30,000$ on January 3rd 2008 .
