	Under the High Patronage of the First Lady              Mrs. Andrée Emile Lahoud The Centre of Diagnostic and Early Intervention (Cdip)  has been established on April 19th 2005،  with the help of  funds  donated by: the humanitarian foundation of Al-Waleed Bin Talal.

Centre of Diagnostic and Early Intervention (Cdip) 

The centre started in April 2005, in Beirut, with the help of funds donated by the humanitarian foundation of al-Waleed Bin Talal.

- It first started at Corniche al-Mazraa

-Now, the Cdip is at the Collège du Sacré-Coeur, Gemmayzeh, since the 1^st of March 2008.

Definition:

The centre gives the diagnosis and intervention for the children from 0 to five years old, as the early detection and Intervention of the Autism Spectrum disorder is very important.

 

The multi-disciplinary team

The multi-disciplinary team is a group of the following professionals:

• Pediatrician
• Psychiatrist
• Pedo-neurologist
• Psychologist
• Special Educator
• Speech-therapist
• Psycho-motor therapist
• Social worker

Our working method

The usual working method of the multi-disciplinary team will be as follows:

1. First, the child gets a complete medical checkup with:

• the pediatrician
• the psychiatrist
• the pedo-neurologist

2. Then, the child goes through individual sessions for evaluation and assessment with:

• the special educator
• the speech-therapist
• the psycho-motor therapist

3. Then, the whole team meets and prepares the diagnosis of the problem and prepares a working plan of intervention for the child.
